Hey, we made it home....finally! Our flight was cancelled Friday night after being delayed a few times and we had to spend the night in Atlanta. We got home yesterday afternoon. Everyone is good, we are just getting settled in. I'll write more soon but just wanted to let everyone know that we made it home safe and sound. Thank you for all your prayers!

Leaving on a jet plane
Well, kind of. Apparently one of the planes is some turbo prop thing that Neal's not thrilled about. Hmmm. Well, at any rate we'll be leaving tomorrow morning for Guatemala. We've mainly spent the day relaxing. We tried to get all our stuff done yesterday so we wouldn't be stressed out today. I think that worked out pretty well.
I won't have the laptop so I won't be updating the blog until we get back. I'll post lots of pictures then. Adios!

No pink yet....
We are still waiting on final approval from the Embassy in Guatemala. They only issue pinks (the final approval slip) Monday - Thursday so now it will be Tuesday before we hear anything. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we wait a little longer to bring home Alex and Andi.

Waiting for Pink and a Baby Shower
First things first, I know everyone wants to know "WHEN ARE THE BABIES COMING!" Well, we've been waiting for pink for the past three weeks. Basically that means that in Guatemala, new birth certificates need to be issued and Visas issued for the kiddos. Visas were issued last Friday, we should be submitted for pink today and have it Thursday or Friday. So hopefully I will have another update for you Friday to let you know exactly when they are coming. For those of you watching timelines, it will be one month to the day from out to pink (if all goes as planned). We have Guatemala City birth certificates.
Lauren and my mother in law threw a FANTASTIC baby shower - I could not have asked for anything more. Everything was beautiful. We got a lot of great stuff! Here are a couple pictures:

My good friend Carol hand knitted this poncho for Andi - she also hand knitted a sweater for Alex. They are so nice, I love them!
